This is one of the first-ever branding packages and websites that I remember designing.
As you can see, I have come a long way. I was trying, but my experience was not what it is today.
You can see how far I have come and got better.
Why am I showing you this? Because I want to remind you that you do not have to wait for everything to fall perfectly in place before starting something, may it be a project, your branding, or your dream business. You have to start doing an action that will lead you closer to your goal.
As cliche as it can be, the beginning is always the hardest. (and i mean this in beggining the action, although it can apply to begin your business in general.) You’re baffled by uncertainties and what-ifs. “What if this won’t work? What if they won’t like my designs? What if they will say something negative? What if, what if, what if?” Whether plans are still messy or you haven’t seen the big picture yet, just start… Inch by inch you are making it through and every day, you’re getting closer to your goal.
If I could turn back time, I would like to thank myself in the past for being brave enough to start this project even though I was baffled by uncertainties. We all learn and improve as we go along.
However, it’s not just about the past and it’s not just about getting started… it’s about keeping going. Those emotions and little gremlins in your brain don’t disappear because you’ve hit a certain revenue goal, or don’t simply poof into smoke because you landed your dream client. Life isn’t that simple (imagine if it were?!!?)
Even 7 & 8 Figure SEOs still doubt themselves… (they doubt themselves on a different level, but it’s still doubt dressed up in a fancier outfit) – Perfectionism and self doubt are the perfect self sabotaging couple that want to drag you down to their level and i’m here to say HEY!! I GET IT TOO!! So by looking back sometimes and showing where you have been and how far you have come can give you enough courage, not maybe to climb that mountain today, but at least take the first few steps. Because after all, small action and tiny changes mount up my friend.
Stop waiting for the perfect time and stop concocting the perfect plan. Just start and enjoy the journey, both ups and downs.
Take a step with me today.
I’ll enjoy the company.
